PORTFOLIO > Raymond House Remodel

Pasadena, Ca
Year:
2010
Project:
Awarded the Pasadena Historical Preservation Award, and a Certificate of Recognition from the State of California and the California Legislature Assembly. This 1895 Classic Mission Revival 3-story home was completely renovated to its original splendor and current building standards. The renovation included: split high efficiency HVAC systems, Cat 5, dual cable and a complete re-wire and re-plumb to 2010 building code requirements. All the original woodwork was stripped, repaired and refinished. The roof, including the eaves, corbels and gutters were completely replaced to the standards set by the Historical Preservation Society. All the windows were removed, cleaned, refinished and re-weighted using the original lead glass and hardware. Closet space and some doorways were reconfigured to make the house more to today’s living requirements. Complete new irrigated landscaping, including a perimeter privacy hedge, finished off this project.
